Using speed equals distance over time, we can put the values 4 hours and 60km/h into the above equation...

60 = x/4

Rearrange to get your answer x ...

Then to find d ... x is the distance between 4 and 8 hours, so you'll have to add it to the distance at 4 hours ...

There is a lot of unimportant distracting information in the graph.  The distance traveled after the first four hours was 270km. They want you to add on the distance traveled the final four hours.

4 hours at 60km/hr = ?

Add that to 270.
