Long story short, my father in law is an avid geocacher (15,000 plus finds) and is going in for surgery in a few days and he is currently on a nearly 14 year streak getting a first to find each month and is about to lose that streak if we don’t get a geocache published that he has a fighting chance at grabbing first. He is a physicist and created this equation and we plan on using the answer to this equation as a lockbox code in hopes that it gives him enough of an edge to grab this up. We are too dumb to solve this and need help. Let’s assume Ta is 37 degrees and W is 40. How long does that sucker need to thaw?
