Well I can tell you off the bat that your symbols are wrong, if it includes (brackets) the upper bound of one and the lower bound of the other, and they're both the same number, then it would just be one thing, no need for the union of anything.

I mean, technically yes, but you can simplify that by just writing (-∞, ∞).
