Start by looking for ways to use math in something you care about, like video games.  Those use a *lot* of math.

Can you sit down with your teacher before or after class to go through things you're having trouble with?

Also, maybe ask your teacher to provide you with more problems on the topics that are difficult for you. If you can give some specifics, people on here can also suggest some online resources.
