it’s B. Think of it like this. 2^4 is 2*2*2*2. If you just add one more *2 it’s the same as increasing the power by one. 2^5=(2^4)*2

2^4 would be 4^2•2•2•2•2 is basically just 4•4. 4^4 would be 4•4•4•4 which is different. If you multiply 2•2•2•2 by another 2 there would be five 2s and it would be 2^5

4 to the 4th power is 4*4*4*4 which is 256.
2 to the 4th power is 2*2*2*2 which is 16, times 2 it's 32.
