Example equation below - I don't understand where 1.8769 comes from in the third line? Please send help!

They just calculated the square, as you can see by looking the units.

This is an example equation from my OU degree - I am trying to work out the individual steps to get to the answer at the bottom so I can understand the process as math is a weak point of mine.

When simplifying the above equation I do not understand where the figure 1.8769 comes from when moving from line 2 to 3? Can anyone ELI5?
