long story short i was drunk and upset at my reflection so i punch my mirror.  stiches on my hand now (plus a broken mirror ugh).  cant use the damn hand bc i have a splint to prevent bending and tearing my stitches

i have access to my textbook and module slides on canvas but i dont tend to make notes on my laptop (which is ten times more difficult to use now with one had).  any recommendations on how i can better retain info while im not able to do my notes in my preferred way?  thank u and avoid punching glass.

Does your school/organization use Microsoft 365 that you have access to? The schools I've been to use it for students but it's slightly different than the regular version

The Microsoft 365 Word has a function where you can dictate, aka do speech to text (I just checked my non-365 version and couldn't find this). I used it during graduate school so I could ramble off an essay then go back and edit it. But for notes it could work well as long as you understand what you "wrote". Plus saying stuff out loud might help you retain the info as well.

I believe it's a microphone symbol on the 'Home' tab of word, or you could look up dictate in the search bar. Apple also has limited speech to text capabilities but I've never used them for school. Alternatively there might be other easy to find dictating apps, but I don't know of them myself.

Hope this helps!
