Can someone either point me to a thread that has this or just hit me with your personal experience, what do you do on a day to day? I'm trying to get a better feel for other products and parts of the industry since I was never in a rotational program. I've done pensions, both pension valuation and group annuities but what I know there is so much more out there and I have no idea what you all do

Wake up at 8 to feed cats, go back to sleep for another hour or 2. Smoke some weed and log on, do whatever work I might have, go to meetings, and play on my phone for the next 8ish hours then log off. Sit in front of the tv until it’s time to go to bed and start again.

I'm an Analyst 1 at a health insurer working remotely.

Log on at 7am. Make breakfast and feed my dog.

8am-12pm: Do whatever work is needed while watching youtube or listening to podcasts. Usually pulling data using SQL to update excel files monthly or annually or reviewing work from coworkers.

12pm- 3:30pm Do whatever needs to be done around the house and work periodically or study.

I take lunch at whatever time I feel like it. Some days I log on or off later because I work with a team an hour ahead. I answer minimal teams calls and messages throughout the day. I attend about 5-8 hours worth of meetings per week with my team and other departments.
